On October 16th, Saad Al-Ali, Deputy Director General for Editorial Affairs and Editor-in-Chief of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), led Kuwaiti media delegation to visit the headquarters of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).
During the meeting, Deputy General Manager of CSCEC Corporate Culture Department Zhou Jing introduced the overall development of CSCEC to the delegation. Deputy General Manager of CSCEC ME Kuwait Representative Office Li Biao briefed the overall operating performance of CSCEC Middle East and the development history of the Company in Kuwait. Both parties expressed that they were eager to bolster cooperation and ties to contribute to their respective development plans, the Kuwait Vision 2035 and China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
Meanwhile, Mr. Saad Al-Ali fully affirmed the achievements made by CSCEC. He stressed that CSCEC played an integral role in aiding Kuwait to realize its development vision under the supervision of the Kuwaiti leadership. He added that CSCEC was in charge of various construction projects in Kuwait, which in turn adds to the success of Kuwaiti-Chinese partnership.
Arab Times, Al Jarida, Al Qabas, Al Rai, Al Shahed and other major media all gave the coverage of the visit, and they even gave a special report to introduce the details of the CSCEC’s performance, which has greatly enhanced the brand image of CSCEC in the local market of Kuwait and then injected a strong impetus to CSCEC’s participation in the five-island development project and Kuwait “2035 Vision” construction project.
Representatives from CSCEC Corporate Culture Department and CSCEC ME attended the meeting as well.
