China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCME) is highly committed to serve the community where the company’s operations are ongoing. This is considered as one of the company’s missions to achieve an elite position within the Construction industry in the Middle East region. Serving the community is an honorable duty, where all CSCME’s employees are proud of and will continue delivering its deliverables based on the vision in the region which is driven by China State HQ in Beijing as one of the major worldwide player in the Construction Industry.
In 2012 the company has achieved a milestone through structuring an annual plan to communicate with several external organizations and discuss how positive contributions can be made by means of funding, employee’s contribution or any other useful means. Some of the charity organizations were approached such as Worldwide Foundation, Dubai Autism Center and Riding for the Disabled Association of Dubai.
In addition to the structure plans that were set in 2012, CSCME since 2003 was very serious to ensure its positive contribution to the society by implementing strict Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Plans to all its projects. The implementation deliverables have been gradually improved from one project to the other and have been recognized by several Clients during the different execution stages of the projects. HSE implementation deliverables had been enforced in 2008 by granting the OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 14001: 2004 certification to ensure a systematic adherence and achieving continuous improvement.
CSCME believes the community members deserve to receive a good and durable product which will sustain for the designed period by the Clients. In order to achieve this target, CSCME have granted ISO 9001: 2008 certifications in 2008 to ensure a systematic and controlled delivery of the Client’s requirements.
In 2010 and 2011, CSCME provided a couple of briefing sessions to UAE University Civil Engineering Department future engineers at one of its Mega Projects. These sessions included a brief about the various stages of construction, and field site visits where all the students could experience the actual construction practice.
CSCME’s senior management during its continuous operation applies stringent control and measures to enhance the utilization and reuse of construction material and resources in order to minimize the wastage produced from the construction process and controls the emissions from the equipments utilized. Also the management focuses on the rates of consumption of electricity and water and introduces various solutions to reduce the consumption and provides suitable and comfortable means to all employees.
CSCME will strive to continue its commitment and contribution in the UAE and the region, to ensure its positive presence and added value to the Community and Clients in terms of delivering sustainable projects.
