Civil & Infrastructure Division of CSCEC ME has obtained the Letter of Acceptance from RTA (Road and Transportation Authority) for ITS 2020/1B and ITS2020/1C Projects worth AED 150 million and 200 million respectively.
The ITS 2020/1B project covers the deployment of DMS, associated control cabinets and support structures, while ITS2020/1C project covers the deployment of field ITS outstation cabinets, hub cabinets, MDBs, feeder pillars and a fibre optic communication network throughout Dubai to provide ITS coverage for Sheikh Zayed Road, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Al Khail Road and other 23 roads for extending the current E and D roadways monitoring and control coverage from current level 11% to 100%. Besides, it provides updated Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) to replace the existing outdated Falcon ATMS.
