The 10th edition of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (MRM) Business Award and the 2nd cycle of the MRM Business Innovation Award ceremony was held at Dubai Opera on 26th February 2019. CSCEC ME is the only Chinese company to win the award this year, which is an honour for us and a tribute to our excellence and innovation in the construction field. This follows our prior recognition and honour when in 2013 we received the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award and consolidates the official recognition and trust of the UAE National and Federal Government bodies in our excellent business practices and achievements.
The 10th cycle of the award ceremony covers seven categories, namely construction, finance, services, manufacturing, trade, re-export and transport & logistics. The esteemed panel of judges, led by H. E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, concluded that CSCEC ME had made a significant contribution to the UAE’s construction industry. CSCEC ME’s competitive edge in the field of building and infrastructure within the UAE, and its active role in implementing corporate social responsibility, made it stand out from its competitors.
During the award ceremony, the President of Dubai’s Civil Aviation Authority, and Chairman & Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group,
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum, UAE Minister of Economy, H. E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri and President & CEO of Dubai Chamber, H.E. Hamad Buamim presented the MRM Business Award to Mr. Yu Tao, President & CEO of CSCEC ME.
The MRM Business Award was established in 2005 under the patronage of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The award is the highest level of recognition of business excellence that an organization can achieve in the region. The award aims to recognize and celebrate the success of organizations that contribute to the sustainable economic development of the UAE and the greater GCC region.
