CSCEC ME received official Taking over Certificate (TOC) issued by RTA for the successful completion of Expo 2020 Roads Network-Contract 2 Project on 16th February.
The contract duration was 910 days with a commencement date of 1st August, 2017. The scope of works included construction of 2 free flow interchanges, 2 tunnels, paving, as well as utility works, etc. The project will serve as a fundamental transportation hub which connects Dubai Maktoum International Airport, Sheikh Zayed Road and Jabel Ali Port, and allow traffic movement for the 300,000 daily visitors per day anticipated for the Expo 2020.
