On April 24th, the 9th MEED Projects Awards Ceremony was held in Conrad Dubai Hotel. Mr. Yu Tao, President & CEO of CSCEC ME attended the ceremony and presented the awards to the winners on behalf of CSCEC ME.
The MEED Project Award is founded by MEED, a remarkable media brand and it has become the leading stamp of quality and achievement for anyone operating in the GCC projects sector. This year, a total of 29 outstanding projects from the UAE, KSA, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain have been selected as the national winners by the MEED Projects Awards. As the largest international contractor in Middle East Region, CSCEC ME was invited to attend the ceremony, and Mr. Yu Tao presented the awards to winners of Innovation Medal and Suitability Medal.
The purpose of MEED Projects Awards is to celebrate the best that the GCC projects industry has to offer. MEED’s aim is to support the development of the region by supporting this crucially important sector. The awards not only recognize the construction element of project delivery but also consider the value and quality of a project throughout its entire life cycle, from the design concept through to engineering and construction and its wider contribution to society and to the environment. CSCEC ME has been awarded MEED Awards in 2014, 2016 and 2017 for three times. The invitation from MEED greatly showed the significant influence of CSCEC ME which is generated by the Company’s continuing solid performance in Middle East construction market.
