Package A for Stage 2 of Etihad Rail Successfully Completed Track Laying Works

Recently, to celebrate the completion of track laying works for Package A for Stage 2 of Etihad Rail constructed by CSCEC ME, the client Etihad Rail held a celebration ceremony at the project site.

Mr. Shadi Malak, CEO of Etihad Rail, Mr. Darren McBride, representative of the Engineer Jacobs, Mr. Wei Chuanhai, President Assistant of CSCEC ME and Mr. Yuan Bin, Executive General Office Director of CSCEC ME attended the ceremony. During the ceremony, Mr. Shadi Malak expressed his gratitude to CSCEC ME for the impressive performance during project implementation. Mr. Mohammed AlShehhi, representative of Etihad Rail, highly appreciated CSCEC ME for the achievements in project management and HSE management as well as the effective execution of the project team.

The 139-kilometer project connecting Ruwais with Ghuweifat on the UAE border with Saudi Arabia is the first railway project constructed by CSCEC in the UAE, which could improve logistics performance and boost the economy in the Middle East.
