Recently, the Dubai Digital Park Project (former named Dubai Silicon Park) is officially accredited with prestigious LEED certifications from the United States Green Building Council. The project consists of 3 groups of buildings. Group 1 won the gold certification, while group 2 and 3 won the highest platinum certification.
This certification recognizes CSCEC ME’s exceptional performance in promoting green buildings through the Dubai Digital Park project in the UAE and the Middle East region, which is a comprehensive community integrating 23 buildings for residence, office, retail, hotel, convention center, fitness and leisure center. It covers an area of 100,000 square meters and has a total construction area of 240,000 square meters. As the first smart city project to take shape at Dubai Silicon Oasis, the project has been designed to comply with Dubai municipality’s initiatives to develop smart cities that could enhance people’s happiness and quality of life.
LEED is the most widely used green building rating system in the world and is an internationally acknowledged symbol of healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings.
