The Big 5 International Building & Construction Show was held in Dubai World Trade Center during 12th – 15th September 2021. Mr. Yu Tao, President & CEO of CSCEC ME was invited to attend the panel discussion “Collaboration: Working together to deliver National Visions” on the Global Construction Leader’s Summit which was held during The Big 5 Show on 12th September. The other panelists included Mr. Kez Taylor, CEO of ALEC, Mr. Oliver Crasson, General Manager Middle East at BESIX, and Mr. Ian Williamson, Chief Project Delivery Officer of The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC).
Mr. Yu Tao emphasized that there was more room for construction improvement in the UAE. He highlighted that establishing a win-win situation instead of a zero-sum game in the industry will help to build a collaborative and effective ecosystem among stakeholders. He also agreed mutual trust is essential to promote industrial development.
The Big 5 Global Construction Leaders’ Summit convenes construction leaders and senior government representatives to discuss support for future industry growth, collaboration and partnerships, the workforce of the future, the impact of digitalization, inspiring efficiency and advancing sustainable development.
