On April 21st, 2022, Downtown Views II project of CECEC ME organized the site staff to participate in the “One Billion Meals” Campaign promoted by the UAE government.
The event donated 400 delicious local meals and more than 500 cooking ingredient packages for foreign workers originated from countries such as India, Pakistan, Nepal, Ghana and etc. The orderliness and awareness of recycling demonstrated by the CSCEC ME site staff were highly recognized by the charity organizer.
The One Billion Meals campaign reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, that aims to develop a comprehensive humanitarian aid as a major priority. The campaign contributes to the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals, especially to achieve “zero hunger” by 2030.
