On this year’s Fortune Global 500 list published on August 10th, China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC)’s ranking rose to 18th from 21st in 2019.
In 2019, CSCEC’s revenue reached 1.4198 trillion yuan (205,839 million USD) and continued to be the world’s largest investment and construction company.
The company has been on the list for 15 years since 2006 and climbed steadily during that period. Its standings by year were: 486th (2006), 396th (2007), 385th (2008), 292nd (2009), 187th (2010), 147th (2011), 100th (2012), 80th (2013), 52nd (2014), 37th (2015), 27th (2016), 24th (2017), 23rd (2018), 21st (2019), and 18th (2020).
The Fortune Global 500, also known as Global 500, is an annual ranking of the top 500 corporations worldwide as measured by revenue. The list is compiled and published annually by Fortune magazine.
