Civil & Infrastructure Division of CSCEC ME received the Letter of Acceptance from Dubai Road & Transport Authority (RTA) to be the Main Contractor for R1005/2 Improvement of Al Awir Road & International City Accesses on August 24th, 2017. The contractual value is AED 192 Million which is equivalent to US Dollars 52 Million.
The proposed project provides improvements along Manama Road, and its intersection with Extension 414 (International City main access) and Nouakchott Street and at the Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Interchange. Manama Road eastbound and westbound will be widened from 2-3 lanes on existing bridge ramps to 3-4 lanes through the Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed interchange. The scope of work also includes the provision of signing and street lighting, crossing ducts for different utilities, relocation and / or protection of existing services.
This has been the 12th cooperation between RTA and CSCEC ME since 2006.
