In response to the UAE Food Bank’s “Your Iftar is on Us” campaign, CSCEC Middle East teamed up with China Mobile International Middle East Company, China Building Materials International Middle East and North Africa Company, Bank of China Dubai Branch jointly launched the “Meals of Love” charity donation activity during Ramadan.
On April 3, under the organization of the UAE Food Bank, more than 30 volunteers from four Chinese enterprises distributed a total of 1,400 Iftar meals at Al Ghurair Labor Camp, bringing care to the blue-collar workers. They fully respected local traditions and customs and sent Ramadan blessings to the Muslim community.
The UAE Food Bank is the first food bank in the UAE, launched under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. During 2024 Ramadan, the UAE Food Bank aims to provide food to over half a million families and more than 3 million workers. Organizer from UAE Food Bank has expressed his gratitude for the Chinese companies, as they contributed a lot on the community and society of UAE, which demonstrates the friendship between China and UAE.
CSCEC Middle East is committed to corporate social responsibility. For years, it has been actively participating in the charity initiative by actively engaging in organizing and distributing the Iftar meals.
