Civil & Infrastructure Division of CSCEC ME Won 2016 International Safety Award

Civil & Infrastructure Division of CSCEC ME has won the 2016 International Safety Award with distinction from the British Safety Council in recognition of its commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe during the 2015 calendar year. The celebration gala dinner was held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 6th May, 2016.

In 2016, 436 organizations won an International Safety Award. These winning organizations span all sectors and are drawn from the United Kingdom, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

CSCEC ME is one of 30 organizations to win a distinction in the 2016 International Safety Awards. The award criteria measured CSCEC ME’s Civil & Infrastructure Division’s system for various key areas such as the implemented approach for the risk assessment, facilities of first aid and welfare, consultations and approaches for enhancing continuous improvement for HSE Standard.

Now in their 58th year, the International Safety Awards recognize and celebrate organizations from around the world that have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous calendar year.

The International Safety Award is a worldwide authoritative award sponsored by British Safety Council. Thus, the annual award ceremony is regarded as the premier event in the field of international occupational health, safety and environment.
