Central Bank of Kuwait Won MEED Quality National Award for Best Building Project of the Year 2016

The New Headquarters Building Project of the Central Bank of Kuwait received top honours for projects excellence at the 2016 MEED Quality Awards for Projects held in association with Mashreq in Dubai on 25th May.

The national winner award was presented by Richard Thompson, MEED’s Magazine Editorial Director to Mr. Yu Tao, President & CEO of CSCEC ME, Mr. Yang Chunsen, Vice President of CSCEC ME, Mr. Yousif Al Ali, Central Bank of Kuwait Manager of Administrative Services Department, Mr. Simon Lawrence, Hok’s Vice President cum Resident Engineer and Miss Nadia Hamza, Pace’s Resident Engineer.

Mr. Yousif Al Ali from The Central Bank of Kuwait appraised the hard work of CSCEC’s project team during the project execution stage and wished successful future for Kuwait Representative Office of CSCEC ME.

The ceremony was also attended by senior members from the GCC construction industry covering various sectors of the business. During the ceremony, the National and GCC winners were congratulated for the great achievement and been requested to sustain such quality with more focus on creativity and sustainability for future projects.

This is the third time in which project undertaken by CSCEC ME has been announced as the national winner since the launch of the award scheme in 2010. The previous awards received were in 2013 for the Doha Tower project and Sheikh Khalifa Hospital project in 2014.
