Viceroy, Dubai, Jumeirah Village Project Won the Award of Leisure & Hospitality Project of the Year

The winning projects, professionals and projects were announced on 25 November 2015 for the eighth annual Middle East Architect Awards held at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai. Viceroy, Dubai, Jumeirah Village Project was the winner in the category of Leisure & Hospitality Project of the Year.

Viceroy, Dubai, Jumeirah Village Project is the second collaboration between CSCEC ME and Skai Holdings Ltd. The renowned global consultancy Atkins has been appointed as lead designer of the project.

The project is located at the heart of Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), which is at the junction between Al Khail Road (E44) and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), and it is close to future world largest airport Al Maktoum Airport. The proposed 59-storey high-rise tower  is  comprised of a 4-star hotel with 234 hotel rooms, 234 hotel apartments and 30 penthouses, retail, specialty restaurant, and relevant hotel amenities, facilities and support areas.

The Middle East Architect Awards programme consisted of 15 categories in total, covering the entire spectrum of architecture, from residential to cultural and public. The awards aim to recognise the best projects and people from throughout the GCC in 2015, ranging from the world’s tallest towers to one-off villas, and veteran designers to those bright young architects just starting out in the region.
