On 24th April 2014, CSCEC Middle East (L.L.C) (hereinafter referred to as CSCEC ME (L.L.C)) duly received the Notification of Award from Abu Dhabi Airport Company PJSC (hereinafter referred to as ADAC), which is awarding the contract of Midfield Terminal Complex – Landside Primary and Secondary Roads Construction to CSCEC ME (L.L.C) with its total contractual value of AED 348,732,887.82, which is equivalent as US Dollars 95 Million. Its commencement date is on 11th May 2014.
The project is based on a Main Contractor contract with a total construction period of 790 calendar days, including 5.5km of primary roads of 2 to 4 lanes, 8km of grade secondary roads, 170,000m2 of Asphalt surfacing for the primary and secondary roads, 11 No. post tensioned bridge structures with spans in range of 36m to 50m with total length of 1.7km, 700,000m³ of embankment and 1.7km of MSE Wall, and 4 electrical substation buildings and associated electrical and mechanical installations.
Midfield Terminal Complex – Landside Primary and Secondary Roads Construction Project is the first civil & infrastructure project of CSCEC ME (L.L.C) under ADAC. The successful bid of this project not only further consolidates CSCEC ME (L.L.C)’s civil & infrastructure business in Abu Dhabi, but also fully embodies the well-known brand benefits and good reputation of CSCEC ME (L.L.C) accumulated over the years in the UAE.
