On November 24th 2015, Dubai-based famous media group CPI held The 2015 edition of the Big Project Middle East Construction and Sustainability Awards of Excellence at Emirates Tower, Dubai. The New Headquarters Building Project of the Central Bank of Kuwait undertaken by Kuwait Representative Office of CSCEC ME defeated many mega projects in the Middle East (including Abu Dhabi International Airport Midfield Terminal Building Project and Mall of the Emirates Project) won the award title of Project of the Year.
The Central Bank of Kuwait Project is considered as one of the excellent projects completed recently in the Middle East. The project is located in the central area of Kuwait Bay with contractual value about US$ 420 million. This building has become a new landmark of Kuwait and been printed on the country’s currency.
After receiving the award, Mr. Yu Tao, Present & CEO, had an interview by the organizer on behalf of CSCEC ME. Mr. Yu said, winning this award is a result of our company by following the operation principle of “Quality is weightier than Mount Tai and excellent services are universally available”. Besides, our Company Management pay close attention to high quality and have good faith in compliance with delivering excellent projects. In the following years, the Company will continue to carry out “One Belt and One Road” strategy to deliver more outstanding projects in the Middle East.
Big Project Middle East’s Construction and Sustainability Awards of Excellence is an annual event aims to recognize and appreciate the efforts of the construction industry throughout the GCC as it strives to maintain the high standards and quality that it is renowned for across the world. The Project of the Year award announced at the end of the ceremony is considered to be the prestigious award with the highest value among all the awards categories. After the awards ceremony, a large number of personnel in the construction industry who attended this ceremony extended their congratulations to CSCEC ME and they highly complimented on the Central Bank of Kuwait project as it represents the highest standard and quality in the GCC countries.
